Preparing for the AI division

1. Build an AI client

The official client library dc4client (Python) handles all communication with the server, so you can focus on the thinking part of your AI.

pip install dc4client

To participate with a language other than Python, see the protocol specification (REST + WebSocket) in the match server repository.

2. Test against the match server

A practice server will be made available before the event. Connection details and account registration will be announced.

3. Enter through the form

Use the "AI division" form above. Have your AI running before the deadline.

Joining the human matches

Use the "Human matches" form above. Team size, whether to sign up in advance or on the day, and the match rules will be published on the About page once decided.
